"It's not that all the information is all brand new, although all incredibly useful, but there's something amazing about giving yourself the time and space, in such a dynamic but supportive environment, to really think through the issues each module tackles.
Vic is honestly brilliant.
Full of knowledge and energy and doing the course really helps remind you why you're wedded to the sector! It's a really difficult time to be in the charity sector (I know we're not alone there) and the camaraderie between the group members helped me to feel less alone and despairing and reminded me that we need to fight on.
Now is not the time for the sector to loose all it's wonderful leaders, of whom there were so many on this course!
Vic's course helps acknowledge how hard our jobs can be at times but also how wonderful a job we do and how we're stronger when we have connection with others. On top of that we came away with some great new knowledge and a bank of useful resources that is unrivalled anywhere else!"
"This course was amazing - Vic's inclusive and embracing style brought together leaders from a real diverse mix of organisations and together we learned, built skills and confidence, had a laugh and created new supportive relationships. I would absolutely recommend this course - it is 100% worth the money for the resources alone - but you benefit from SO much more!"
"I wholeheartedly recommend this training to leaders at all levels. It is a worthwhile investment of your time and resources. Thank me later."
" I couldn't imagine another course that gives you the breadth of information that Small Charity Leaders Club does. It is brilliant for those starting out in the charity sector, starting small charities or individuals who want a wider view of charities as a whole. Great speakers, wonderful community and delivered in a really supportive and encouraging way."
"I'd 1000% recommend this course. It gave me a level of support, understanding and connection that I didn't expect but honestly really needed"
"Small Charity Leaders Club is a mindfully curated course for anyone running a small non profit. Don't think because you're not running a UK organisation that you won't learn anything. The business of social and community impact is universal and Vic is a stellar facilitator."
"This is the best support I've found for me as a CEO of a small charity. The content really is tailored to our scale and issues and the network of peers is so helpful"
"Vic knows the world of small charities so well, has brought in excellent speakers, and creates a really comfy space to learn and share. Highly recommended!"
"Running a small charity can be a lonely place. Vic has created a course that's not only packed with practical guidance and structured knowledge sharing - it's also a space to find like-minded people who want to have a positive impact in the world, often against the odds.
The resources were brilliant and Vic's sessions created much needed clarity but it was the companionship, fresh perspectives and support from Vic, the expert speakers and my incredible peers that felt both grounding and inspirational. "
"I didn't know how much I needed this. As a small charity director it can feel awfully lonely when you feel as if its just on you to handle everything, you end up filling so many gaps and dealing with a different set of challenges on the daily that you often feel as if you can't come up for air. This course help to not only demystify a lot of the stereotypes of what a leader should be but include so much valuable advice about how to thrive in the role rather than surviving it."
"This was the best thing I've done since starting a small charity. Everything you need to navigate and get going. The community is amazing, Vic is amazing. Do not think twice, do it!"
"Being in the first cohort of Vic's Small Charity Leaders Club has been absolutely brilliant. If you are thinking about which course or resource to consider, do this one.
I have met amazing peers, been given brilliant shared resources, and had training on every aspect of charity CEO roles (of which we all know there are many hats!), been really challenged about how we do things, but most importantly, we have all been supported, inspired, listened to, no longer isolated."
"Being part of the SCLC has genuinely been one of my highlights of 2025. I’ve learnt so much, met so many awesome people, and all the content has been really valuable. The delivery and pace of the course is fantastic too. I feel so 'super charged' and inspired, and I know this course will make a huge difference to my personal development, but more importantly to the charity I work at.
You can tell Vic is so passionate and knowledgeable about the sector; her enthusiasm is infectious and I feel so fortunate to have been part of this club.
I am shouting out about this club to everyone I know, and would recommend it to anyone working in the charity sector."
"I would thoroughly recommend this excellent course.
In addition to being a mine of extremely useful information and resources, it was also thought provoking, inspiring and challenging. The sessions were extremely well structured and everyone was included.
A rare and very valuable opportunity to be yourself in this challenging role."
"I recommend this to all small charity leaders. Yes there will be things you know or think you do but even these prompt you to consider could you develop you skills or materials any further in that area for the good of your organisation.
Then there will be parts that you will get significant learning from. Being a small charity leader can often be a isolated experience with no one in the organisation quite understanding things from your perspective.
The group splits you into small peer communities that really help and support you with that."
